vanilla ice cream recipe

When I saw a recipe for butter pecan ice cream on Williams Sonoma's
website, I bookmarked it immediately. But later on, I realized I
didn't have pecans at home. Not letting that deter me, I decided to go
for walnuts instead.
Original Recipe from:

1 cup very rich vanilla ice cream. a dash of ground nutmug
(freshly grated is best). a chilled iced tea glass. an iced tea spoon.
To make eggnog for a crowd, just count the number of people present

I looked around for some
recipes on the 'Net, but most seemed to involve inordinate amounts of
cream and ice cream, or the vegan equivilants. Well, that's a

We
started by following a recipe, but after making many changes (some on
purpose, some…not) we ended up with a very delicious end product, and
our own great recipe. This crisp really needs to be served warm with a
topping of vanilla ice
